This balance has a resolution of 0.002 grain — ten times finer than the FX/FZ-120i series.
With such a high resolution, each charge will naturally take longer to complete.
If you prefer faster charges over ultra-precise ones, the FX/FZ-120i would be the better choice.
Please be aware that AI cannot automatically determine the optimal settings, so you will need to experiment to find the configuration that works best for you.
This process may require some patience.
The current firmware does not yet support this higher resolution, but our next firmware will.
If you choose to place an order now, we can provide you with a beta version of the new firmware, which includes support for the FX/FZ-104.
If you are not willing to experiment with the SuperTrickler settings, or if you cannot accept that charges may take longer compared to the FX/FZ-120i, then this balance may not be the right choice for you.
The balance is delivered with a special weighing plate and a steel cover plate, both developed together with A&D.
These two parts cannot be purchased separately, so it is not guaranteed that you can use an FX/FZ-104 bought elsewhere than through the webshop or our SuperTrickler dealers.
The unit is pre-programmed for use with SuperTrickler.
Important: Do not use the A&D power supply (PSU) when the balance is connected to the SuperTrickler, as the balance is powered via the SuperTrickler cable.
Please note that the balance may not be supplied with a PSU adapter compatible with the power outlets in your country.
